Whipped Froth Topping

  • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons fairlife® whole ultra-filtered milk
  • 1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1.5 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract


  • Step 1

    Chill the bowl and whisk of a stand mixer or handheld electric mixer in the freezer for 15 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Meanwhile combine the gelatin and 2 tablespoons fairlife® whole ultrafiltered milk in a small microwave-safe bowl and let sit for 1 minute.

  • Step 3

    Transfer the bowl to the microwave and heat-and-stir in short 5 second intervals until the gelatin fully dissolves in the milk (do not exceed more than 20 seconds total microwave time as you do not want to overheat the milk). When dissolved, set aside to cool.

  • Step 4

    Then pull the chilled bowl and whisk from the freezer and attach it to your mixer. Put the remaining 1 cup fairlife® whole ultra-filtered milk, powdered sugar, and vanilla in the chilled bowl.

  • Step 5

    Start on low speed and slowly increase the intensity until the milk turns foamy and finally frothy and thick (about 2 minutes).

  • Step 6

    At this stage, with the mixer still running, slowly add the liquid gelatin mixture and increase the mixer speed tohigh. Whip on high for another 30 seconds or until the mixture turns intensely fluffy with soft peaks.

  • Step 7

    Enjoy immediately over shakes, milk, ice cream, or fruit.
