JOB PURPOSE:

The Supply Chain Data Systems Supervisor will be part of the administrative team within fairlife, llc reporting to the Director of Warehousing (East).  The Supply Chain Data Systems Supervisor is responsible for managing a team of inventory analysts and Supply Chain Data Administrators. The Supply Chain Data Systems Supervisor works closely with the Supply Chain Team and Accounting Department.  Under limited supervision, the Supply Chain Data Systems Supervisor is responsible for inventory control management of all raw materials and finished goods, the consumption of raw materials, and inventory data control. Reporting on current inventory levels and accuracy regularly.  This person will also oversee the supply chain administration group with posting of production and ensuring deadlines are met.  Assists in compliance with established procedures and maintains effective internal controls over the physical product flow and accounting of inventory, receiving, shipping, and other inventory areas in manufacturing, warehousing (internal and third party), and DC operations. This person is the liaison for all data systems relating to warehousing and inventory including but not limited to DSI, NetSuite, SAP and D365.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage a team of 3-5 individuals consisting of inventory analysts and supply chain data administrators.
  • Assist in gathering information during internal/external audits.
  • Inventory management. Responsible for the end-to-end inventory management of finished goods, raw materials and packaging at our Coopersville and offsite locations.
  • Responsible for the annual W2W inventory counts working with the accounting department.
  • Acts as a liaison for all inventory related inquiries for CCNA and co-pack items.
  • Ensure timely disposition of items and minimize waste.
  • Works with QA to ensure all bad materials and products are accounted for appropriately.
  • Coordinates all product disposals in accordance with established fairlife guidelines.
  • Assure greater than 98% inventory accuracy for all products and ingredients.
  • Conducts daily inventory analysis to solve inventory issues quickly such as locating product and processing inventory.
  • Coordinates and facilitates daily, weekly, and monthly physical cycle counts.
  • Resolve shipment discrepancies and determine resolution process.
  • Assists in scheduling and ensuring performance of physical and cycle count inventories.
  • Perform a variety of other duties as may be assigned from time to time by management representatives.
  • Administers CHEP inventory and ensures the current stock balance is up to date with current numbers.
  • Regularly reconciles inventories between third party sites and internal software.
  • Build and coordinate the implementation of new essential tools and processes the teams that create efficiency and more accuracies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in inventory management, data analytics and/or ERP management.
  • Proficiency in SAP and/or NetSuite preferred.
  • Bachelor degree preferred.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
  • Experience with an ERP management system is preferred
  • Strong Attention to Detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
  • Problem Solving, Communication and Networking skills are needed to drive results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Advanced Microsoft office skills (Excel, Outlook)
  • Power BI / SQL Server / DAX experience is a plus
  • Self-starter and self-motivated with the ability to complete work assignments based on broad directions with a minimum of supervision.
  • Knowledge of materials management techniques.
  • Ability to manage people.

Food Safety Responsibilities:

  • Notify supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are required that may affect product quality or food safety.
  • Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy while in the Production Areas.
  • Perform all duties necessary to meet Company, Customer and/or Government requirements/standards as prioritized by the Company.
  • Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system.
  • Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system.
  • Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
  • In the event of absence, another employee with the same skill level will assume the duties and responsibilities as required.
