Homemade Peach Ice Cream

  • Cook Time

    8 hours

  • Serves

    4 cups

Ingredients

  • 2 cups, fairlife® 2% Ultra-Filtered Milk
  • 1/2 cup diced peaches
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract (add more for sweetness),
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios

Instructions

  • Step 1

In a small bowl, combine 1 cup of diced peaches and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Let this sit while you prepare your other ingredients. Save any peach juices that remain in the bowl.

  • Step 2

Combine the reserved peach juice with fairlife ultra-filtered milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. (I use fairlife ultra-filtered milk because it makes my ice cream creamier)

  • Step 3

Turn on ice cream maker and pour milk mixture into the freezer bowl. Let it mix 5 minutes and then add in bowl of diced peach mixture.

  • Step 4

Let the machine mix for 20-25 minutes or until desired thickness of ice cream. 5 minutes before mixing is complete, add in the sliced peaches and let it mix completely.

  • Step 5

Add pistachios on top to liking.

Notes

This recipe was made with the Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker so be sure to chill the freezer bowl at least 8 hours or overnight. You can use frozen or fresh peaches. Thaw completely if using frozen peaches.
