We’re all entrepreneurial at heart, and I don’t think we give ourselves enough credit or feel that sense of pride from all the work we put in on a daily basis. We all have time, money, effort, and emotions we’re constantly investing and reinvesting, many of us using these to create a better quality of life. Take some of those resources and invest them into yourself.

One of my favorite ways to invest those resources is into my health + wellness. I’ve found sweating and finding a form of fitness you enjoy creates positive change both inside and out of the gym. The gym has increased my quality of life in so many ways: Friends and a community I can lean on at times of turmoil; a safe place to go to and work on myself; a sense of accomplishment and pride in knowing the work I’m putting in will create a stronger body and mind. Most importantly, these changes and positive effects of investing in myself help create a better community around me.

Some of the best benefits of fitness you can’t put a dollar amount on, but I don’t think any amount of money could compare to that feeling of pride and accomplishment of working and succeeding at your own goals.
