fairlife Invests $100,000 to Help Nourish Families Across West Michigan

COOPERSVILLE, Mich., Nov. 5, 2026 — fairlife today announced it is donating a total of $100,000 to four West Michigan organizations working to address food insecurity and strengthen local communities. The funding will support Coopersville Cares, Kids’ Food Basket, Community Action House, and No Kid Hungry’s work in Michigan. Each organization will receive $25,000.

“We are so proud to support organizations that are dedicated to addressing food insecurity, strengthening local communities and making a positive impact every day in the lives of families across the region,” said Becca Kerr, fairlife CEO. “For 15 years, Coopersville has been an important part of who we are, and we’re grateful to be part of this community. We want to continue showing up in ways that make a positive difference.”

The investment in the region comes on the heels of the recent groundbreaking of a $650 million expansion project at the fairlife production facility in Coopersville, which will help support fairlife’s mission to nourish the modern world. fairlife selected these four organizations for their proven ability to bring this mission to life and make a meaningful impact across West Michigan.

“Strong communities are built when neighbors and partners come together to care for one another. We’re incredibly grateful to fairlife for their investment in our work, and in our West Michigan community. Their support helps us put healthy food within reach for more families, while connecting our neighbors with the resources and relationships they need to build a stronger future. This is what community collaboration looks like, and we’re proud to have fairlife alongside us in this work.” – Scott Rumpsa, CEO, Community Action House.

For more than a decade, fairlife has remained committed to making a meaningful impact in the communities where its employees live and work. In 2026, the fairlife Coopersville facility supported more than 90 local organizations through a combination of charitable donations, product contributions, food recovery initiatives, volunteer efforts, event sponsorships, and community partnerships. Through these efforts, the Coopersville team continued to strengthen and support communities across West Michigan.

“When just $50 can give healthy evening meals to a child for an entire month, this generosity will have a tremendous impact for local kids,” said Tamara VanderArk-Potter Vice President of Philanthropy for Kids’ Food Basket. “As a 90% philanthropically-funded organization, the 11,500 meals we distribute each weekday are possible because partners like fairlife care.”

The fairlife plant has been operating in Coopersville since 2012 and currently employs more than 450 full-time employees. In addition to adding two new production lines and 245,000 square feet, the expansion project will add approximately 200 new full-time jobs.
