A great way to stay focused with your fitness, this coming fall is to sign up for an event! This is a great way to stay on track with your training; try new things; challenge yourself; and even get family and friends involved. I always tell clients if you need a little motivation or need a goal to reach for, what better way to hold YOU accountable, than signing up for a 5K, triathlon, CrossFit competition, or even a half marathon.
Right now, there are so many choices out there that are not only challenging, but also FUN! I am a big fan of signing up for half marathons in cities that I have never been to. A good excuse to train, travel, and have fun. So check out events going on in your city, or around the country, or even the world! Get out there, train hard, and remember to have fun while you are doing it.
