job purpose:  The Zone Commercial Manager will be responsible for developing bottler-specific commercial plans incorporating national and regional priorities as well as bottler-specific metrics and incentives. This position will also participate in North American Operating Unit (NAOU) franchise and bottler commercial routines to ensure proper prioritization for fairlife brands that align with fairlife business goals and objectives.

responsibilities:

  • Partner with commercial and regional bottler teams to customize fairlife’s national commercial plan for specific bottlers and respective regions
  • Ensure timely and appropriate communication of confirmed programming to fairlife and Coke Sales Ops teams to maximize execution
  • Assess local nuances, bottler-specific metrics, and tailor plans to ensure programming will meet overall business goals
  • Support Senior Director of Sales in tracking execution, analyzing execution data, and reporting findings
  • Assist Senior Director in annual Sources of Growth (SOG) planning along with the bottler commercial, customer, and revenue growth teams and Coca-Cola Zone leadership
  • Manage overall business performance and progress within defined region
  • Utilize influencing skills to customize final programming plans to help drive success and deliver business goals
  • Partner with Zone Key Account Managers to develop bottler delivered brand selling materials for priority customers as needed
  • Evaluate current and past programming for effectiveness and ROI to determine future needs and plans
  • Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within assigned bottlers and zone
  • Ensure time sensitive deadlines are met within assigned territory

  • Regional bottler sales and commercial teams, fairlife sales team, fairlife commercial team, Coca-Cola Zone franchise leadership teams

skills/qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field required
  • 3-5+ years of CPG sales and/or commercial experience required, with a focus on food or beverage products preferred
  • Strong ability to leverage and manipulate data and insights to tell a compelling story and drive business plan objects
  • Strong business acumen ability
  • Ability to leverage combination of relationship development and data-driven influencing to achieve business goals
  • Proactive attitude with entrepreneurial skill set, who thrives in a multi-tasking environment
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver creative solutions that meet business objectives in response to inevitable market challenges
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
