job purpose:

Assists in compliance with established procedures and maintains effective internal controls over the physical product flow and accounting of inventory, receiving, shipping, and other inventory areas in manufacturing, warehousing (internal and third party), and DC operations.

responsibilities:

  • Transportation and dock management. Manage the check in and check out process for all inbounds and outbounds utilizing D365.
  • Assure 100% accuracy for carrier and driver information as we as load completion.
  • Reconcile any discrepancies with purchase orders received in.
  • Conducts daily yard walk.
  • Coordinates and facilitates daily, weekly, and monthly reviews of load discrepancies and reports them to management.
  • Coordinate with logistics, production, and customer service to ensure orders are delivered accurately.
  • Resolve shipment discrepancies and determine resolution process.
  • Assists Warehouse Manager in day to day data entry of transactions across entire Supply Chain. 
  • Assists in scheduling and ensuring loads are completely in a timely manner.
  • Perform a variety of other duties as may be assigned from time to time by management representatives.

skills/qualifications required:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Accuracy and detail focused.
  • Ability to work independently with professional demeanor.
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, WMS) and preferred D365 and SAP experience
  • Self-starter and self-motivated with the ability to complete work assignments based on broad directions with minimum of supervision.
  • Knowledge of materials management techniques.
  • Desired 3 to 5 years of warehouse or manufacturing experience.

working conditions and physical requirements:

  • Lifts where necessary
  • 8 hours sitting/standing/walking
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Reaching/bending often
  • Exposure to hazards (machinery, confined spaces, etc.)

reports to: Warehouse Manager

travel requirements: Offsite warehouse weekly
