job purpose: As a part of fairlife’s Executive Leadership Team, the Vice President of Human Resources will provide leadership and support in functional areas of HR including talent acquisition, benefit administration, compensation and merit planning, DE&I, learning and development, talent development and performance management, employee relations, and retention. This individual will successfully balance strategic direction with implementation and operational excellence.

 

responsibilities:

  • Serve as a business partner to the Executive Leadership Team, providing coaching, counseling, and support on HR matters
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define the organization’s long-term mission and goals; identify ways to support this mission through talent management and innovative initiatives
  • Partner with Coca-Cola North America (CCNA) HR leadership to leverage resources, maintain connections, while operating as a separate entity
  • Research, develop, and implement competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to the Human Resources team
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, and other laws, regulations, and requirements at the local, state, and federal level
  • Oversee talent acquisition function to ensure execution of talent strategies across the organization
  • Own and drive analysis of data to identify relationships, trends, and potential business impact; interpret data and articulate opportunities for change initiatives to the Executive Leadership Team
  • Oversee and lead fairlife benefits programs, including but not limited to medical, dental, 401k, etc.
  • Lead and manage other projects and responsibilities as assigned

 

skills/qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required, Master’s Degree strongly preferred
  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience required, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience leading teams at an executive level
  • Experience in food and beverage manufacturing and/or CPG preferred
  • Experience in both union and nonunion environments preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with large-scale change management initiatives
  • Strong people management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business acumen sense
  • Strong leadership, communication, and rapport building skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
