job purpose:

The Sr. Region Commercial Manager is responsible for leading their respective North America Operating Unit (NAOU) region commercial objectives across the fairlife portfolio of dairy-based nutrition brands. This role requires a Nielsen and knowledge & insights mindset to support commercial planning and execution across all routes to market to drive flawless execution and partnership with our Retail, Foodservice, and On-Premise customers in the Region. The Sr. Region Commercial Manager will be the subject matter experts in their respective RTM portfolio of brands. In addition, SRCM is responsible to provide category, customer, and shopper selling tools to fairlife Region Key Account Managers (RKAM) and NAOU customer and bottler teams within their respective Regions. This individual will deliver against strategic commercial initiatives based on company goals that will promote brand love, accelerate growth, and deliver unmatched value for our customers, the Coca-Cola system, and the company. The Sr. Region Commercial Manager will be responsible for commercial communication and intelligence across all brands and all routes to market in the region they are aligned to commercially.

 

responsibilities:

  • Serve as the liaison between fairlife HQ commercial team to the customer, region, and bottling teams in the designated North America Operating Unit (NAOU) Region
  • Partner with Commercial leads on executing Category and Channel commercial strategy and annual planning cycle in accordance with NAOU cycle
    • Take HQ strategy and translates into clear Zone targets, by brand, by customer, Region score carding
  • Partner with Customer Commercial lead who will provide category and channel specific selling stories, tools and leads NRS category engagement
    • Customize HQ stories based on Region priorities, customer needs, etc.
  • Partner with Shopper Marketing team to execute programming with select region priority customers
    • Region bottler and customer commercial, in partnership with Region Key Account Managers (RKAMs), use asset kits by channel, by brand, to execute shopper programs with region customers
    • Use bottler shopper and NAOU region shopper resources for any customization
  • Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team sets price pack strategy, promotional guidelines and effectiveness, trade rates, across all brands and channels
    • Region commercial teams take HQ RGM guidance and align on AMPS with bottlers and NAOU teams to develop Region specific price pack plans, promo calendars, and score card vs revenue, profit, and margin targets
  • Ensure timely and appropriate communication of confirmed programming to fairlife and NAOU teams to maximize executions
  • Support Region Director in tracking execution, analyzing execution data, and report findings
  • Manage overall business performance and progress within defined zone

Utilize influencing skills to customize final programming plans to help drive success and deliver on annual business goals

 

skills/qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum of 3 years’ Key Account Management sales experience required, with a focus on food or beverage products preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ Bottler/Distributor management experience; preferably with food or beverage products
  • Ability to leverage data and insights to tell a compelling story and drive business plan objects
  • Strong business acumen ability
  • Possess existing knowledge of local market
  • Proactive attitude with entrepreneurial skill set, who thrives in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver creative solutions that meet business objectives in response to inevitable market challenges
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

reports to: Senior Director, Field Sales South Region

travel requirements: 50%
