job purpose:

The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for leading our brand social media channels by working closely with brand teams to create, publish, monitor and measure content results. They will also lead our social listening and be responsible for online community management across our channels.

This role will be part of a 5-person Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) team and reports to the Director of Brand IMC. This key position will work closely with our internal brand teams along with external agency partners.

responsibilities:

  • Own strategy, content recommendations, development, and publishing across all organic social media platforms.
  • Create graphics and content to be leveraged across channels.
  • Lead measurement and success reporting on overall effectiveness of campaigns with an eye for insights and trends reported monthly.
  • Moderate social platforms to engage with consumers and to relay trends to appropriate internal partners.
  • Act as primary point of contact for all consumers inquiries via social media, working directly with fairlife’s customer service team to support
  • Provide competitive analysis and industry benchmarking.
  • Assist as needed in coordinating weekly email newsletter

qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field required with 2-3 years of professional experience in a social media and community management role
  • Direct experience with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social channels
  • Understanding of best practices to drive specific metrics with a test and learn mindset
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with solid copywriting skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment, and work in a collaborative way

technical skills:

  • Experience creating, shooting, and editing videos for organic posts
  • Experience with Sprout Social, or similar social reporting tool
  • Familiarity with Adobe Platform and/or Canva encouraged, not required
