job purpose: The Payroll/Human Resources Administrator will assist the Payroll Manager and HR Team in all activities regarding Payroll and HR Administration, to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. This entry-level position must be detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of the concept of confidentiality.

 

responsibilities:

  • Assist with the processing of an accurate and timely bi-weekly, multi-state payroll in accordance with company policies, practices and procedures as well as appropriate state and federal regulations
  • Research and resolves payroll issues in a timely manner
  • Enter and updates garnishments, child support orders in payroll system
  • Accurately update, maintain, and optimize the HRIS information within ADP
  • Process all HR Changes in ADP Workforce Now (WFN)
  • Provide excellent levels of customer service to all levels of employees by responding to requests in a timely manner
  • Manage the onboarding of new hires
  • Maintains employee documents and records in cloud-based e-filing system
  • Assists with audits to include; I-9 audits, payroll audits, and other compliance reviews.
  • Maintain Company Wide Org Chart
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

skills/qualifications required:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • 1-2+ years of payroll experience required
  • Previous experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) platform required
  • Possess strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency and meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to handle shifting priorities
  • Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Possess general knowledge of payroll laws
  • Must be flexible with shifting schedule depending on payroll week
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
