job purpose: The Human Resources/Office Assistant will be responsible for supporting the established HR administration processes and procedures, as well as assisting and executing overall office activities. This role will support the Total Rewards Manager, Talent Acquisition Manager, HR Director, and Office and Facilities Manager in other day-to-day activities.

responsibilities:

  • Responding/forwarding HR mail and third-party requests to appropriate parties.
  • Prepare and send HR reports and data files.
  • Prepare benefit uploads/file feeds, review and reconcile errors/corrections.
  • Support Open Enrollment deliverables and communications.
  • Support wellness program by coordinating onsite wellness events, administration of wellness programs and distribution of wellness communications.
  • Coordinate training workshops and events.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and greet onsite candidates.
  • Coordinate and support in-office and engagement events such as new hire lunches.
  • Manage the monthly birthday and anniversaries list.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team to plan and coordinate early career program events at headquarters.
  • Support Office and Facilities Manager by assisting with supply stocking, greeting visitors, employee events and other ad hoc projects.

 

skills/qualifications required:

  • 1-3 years of experience working in a professional HR setting is strongly preferred, including exposure to benefits administration and talent acquisition.
  • Must have the ability to effectively interact with personnel from all levels within the organization and apply good judgement in resolving sensitive and/or confidential employee benefit and HR issues.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have strong oral and written communication, and analytical and organizational skills.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office, including the use of Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with electronic human resources preferred, specifically experience with ADP Workforce Now.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to operate well in a fast-paced environment.

  • 8 hours sitting/standing/walking.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. as needed.
