job purpose: The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for executing and driving the established HR administration processes and procedures. This newly created role will also support the HR Manager, Talent Acquisition Manager, and Total Rewards Manager in other day-to-day activities.

 

responsibilities:

  • Accurately update, maintain, and optimize the HRIS information within ADP including processing of new hires, terminations, promotions, reporting changes and other HR changes.
  • Maintain employee documents and records in cloud-based e-filing system.
  • Manage the onboarding of new hires and completion of all e-paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Assist with audits to include I-9 audits, benefit audits, EEO, and other compliance reviews.
  • Responsible for HR analytics, including workforce, talent acquisition, benefit, DE&I, and other ad hoc reporting requests.
  • Manage data feed and reporting to training, performance, and other HR systems.
  • Assist in the development and execution of newly created university recruitment programs.
  • Assist with Performance Management system and process creation.
  • Assist HR Team with note taking and documentation during important meetings including exit interviews, performance calibration, employee investigations, and other meetings.
  • Assist in the coordination of training programs.
  • Maintain Human Resources communication boards and information sections in HQ.
  • Responsible for onboarding-related projects including the coordination of quarterly onboarding events/offsites.
  • Assist with benefits enrollment processes, data feeds, and coordinate wellness initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

skills/qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Human Resources, or combined education and work experience, required.
  • 1-3 years’ experience performing HR Administration, required.
  • Possess strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (ADP).
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment law.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
