job purpose: The Distribution Supply Planner will be responsible for processing order updates and communication to the planners within the Bottler and Minute Maid Network. Duties include verifying inventory against planned orders and current production schedule. Interpretation of production schedules to determine inventory destinations (storage vs. sales orders).  Operations include competent operation of D365 and logistics web portals, completion of necessary paperwork in a clear accurate manner, managing TOTS across product families. Work closely with shipping coordinators to call out any potential shortages ahead of time to mitigate additional charges when product is not available.

responsibilities:

• Responsible for auditing the daily outgoing shipments which consists of: Making sure inventory is available for scheduled outbound loads and calling out any potential risks and reaching out to customers for resolution.
• Ensure production schedule is current in order to schedule transportation based on material produced.
• Report out all OOS situations with supervisor to determine best course of action/communication.
• Have the ability to work from home in the event that rescheduling of freight is required.
• Experience in Microsoft Office programs: Create/data entry into Excel spreadsheets.
• Be Audit Ready: Workspace must be clean and organized. Documentation must be accurate and filed accordingly.
• Work with Quality Assurance team on product releases, follow up on deviation holds, and any necessary re-work.
• Assist in cleaning up Finished Good inventory variances.
• Report violations of company policies, procedures, and working rules to Warehouse and Materials Managers.
• Follow all safety and working rules.
• Work closely with accounts payable to make sure orders are fulfilled and completed for month end.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

skills/qualifications required:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or combination of education and professional experience required.
• 3+ years of related experience required.
• Must have the ability to troubleshoot problems and be persistent until a highly repairable solution is found.
• Ability to work in a safe manner and follow all safety procedures including use of safety equipment.
• Must be able to effectively compare inventory to outbound scheduled loads.
• Must be able to interpret production schedules and plan based on volume and transit times.
• Must be able to represent Fairlife in a professional manner when speaking with customers and suppliers.
• Treat everyone with respect and fairness

food safety requirements:

• Notify supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are required that may affect product quality or food safety.

• Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy while in the Production Areas.
• Perform all duties necessary to meet Company, Customer and/or Government requirements/standards as prioritized by the Company.
• Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system.
• Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system.
• Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
• In the event of absence, another employee with the same skill level will assume the duties and responsibilities as required.
