job purpose: The Director of eCommerce will build the overall ecommerce scope, strategy, and team for the new ecommerce function within fairlife. This position will be responsible for driving growth and revenue across the entire ecommerce channel, including omnichannel ecommerce business, and other major accounts. As this is a new function within the fairlife organization, this position will be responsible for hiring and building out the ecommerce team, while also responsible for results, and accountable for growth goals of the overall function.

 

responsibilities:

  • Own the overall ecommerce strategic plan across omnichannel and pure play accounts
  • Ensure the ecommerce is embedded in overall commercial plan and RGM activities, such as promotion and trade analysis
  • Drive touchpoints and cadence with other parts of the organization
  • Oversee and manage functional ecommerce leads and align on strategic targets/success metrics with each
  • Oversee and manage overall optimization of product page quality, ratings & reviews, search results, and digital advertising
  • Responsible for creating and ensuring fairlife team incentives are aligned with eCommerce strategy and goals
  • Responsible for hiring and building out ecommerce team – (digital content and marketing, data and analytics, ecommerce sales)
  • Continually optimize strategy plan to accompany landscape of ecommerce function within the company
  • Strong partnership with NRS team to align customer strategies and drive growth within key ecommerce accounts

key relationships and partnerships: fairlife marketing, commercial, sales leadership, CCNA eCommerce team

skills/qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or related field required
  • Master’s Degree/MBA preferred
  • 7-10+ years of progressive experience within eCommerce, preferably in the CPG industry
  • Strong business acumen ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills, combined with strong business judgement
  • Self-starter with the desire to build something from scratch
  • Strong ability to influence, with the proven ability to move ideas to execution
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
